CLASS POLICIES

 

All classes are for students 18 and older, unless otherwise stated. If a younger student would like to attend a class, please contact me to discuss.

Please purchase a registration for each person planning to attend a class.

Most classes require that you bring your own sewing machine. Please be sure to read the class description carefully. If you do not have a sewing machine but are interested in purchasing a class, please contact me. Loaner machines may be available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Some classes include materials. Please read class descriptions carefully. If materials are not included, you will be emailed a materials list upon receipt of payment, and will be required to purchase all materials PRIOR to the start of class.

Refunds:
Should you find yourself unable to attend a class for which you purchased a seat, please notify me 48 hours prior to the start of class for a refund, or credit towards another class.  I cannot issue a refund once the 48 hour window has passed.

Cancellations:
A minimum of two students is required in order to run each class. If we do not meet that minimum, you will be notified 48 hours prior to the start of class, and your payment will be refunded in full, or may be applied as credit towards another class.

Inclement weather policy (because it’s Maine):
Should the weather present seriously unfavorable driving conditions, class will be canceled. Your payment will be refunded in full, or may be applied as credit towards another class.
Students will be notified of class cancellations due to weather via email, and through a post on the Holly McBride Workshop Facebook page and blog.

By purchasing a class registration, you acknowledge that there will be the use of equipment (including but not limited to sewing machines, needles, scissors) that can cause injury, and you agree to hold harmless Holly McBride, the shop owners or shop employees for any injury or issues that might occur.
